STEM (Science Technology Engineering Maths) Activities

by | Nov 16, 2018 | Learning Resource Case Studies

Many schools are looking for real world practical problems to be solved by their students as part of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics curricula. One of our clients requested that we develop some hands-on problems that include design thinking principles suitable for students in years 7 to 10 at secondary school.

The result is a suite of open-ended problems that students can investigate as individual or group tasks that draw on the scientific method and engineering design. The activities have been designed to promote critical thinking and help to inspire students to want to continue to study STEM related subjects in the final two years of secondary schooling.
